“WOOL CASHMERE AND LEATHER PRODUCTS-2021” EXHIBITION

Initiated by Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Mongolian leather production association and Mongolian wool and cashmere association “Wool, cashmere and leather products-2021” event is being organized for the 15th year on October 21-25, 2021 at Misheel Expo center. Around 100 enterprises producing wool, cashmere and leather products are participating in this exhibition.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Parliament Zandanshatar.G. In his opening speech he emphasized that “In order to replace imports and develop export-oriented industries, we need to pay more attention and support the processing of raw material such as wool, cashmere and leather. Leather and wool, cashmere products are endless resources that can grow and pay off, so they can be fully developed if they can be sold and added value. The wool and cashmere sector is expected to create 50,000 new jobs to reduce poverty and generate 1 billion dollar in export sales if it can expand foreign market.
The exhibition will end on the 25th of this month and the best in the industry will be selected and awarded.
