Today, the President of Mongolia Khurelsukh.U and Minister of MOFALI Enkhbayar.J, introduced with the biggest producer of the wool and cashmere industry factory and current status of the processing production of Sor Cashmere LLC and Snow Fields LLC.
The “White Gold” national campaign initiated by the President will increase the value of raw materials of animal origin, improve competitiveness, increase the production and export of quality-assured, value-added products, and bring the agricultural light industry to a new level.
By implementing the “White Gold” national campaign, the level of full cashmere processing will be increased, cashmere production will increase from 1.5 trillion MNT to 2.3 trillion MNT, export from 398 million USD to 690 million USD, and more than three thousand new jobs will be created.
Wool and cashmere industry is aiming to create socially responsible and sustainable green production, increase the competitive value of Mongolian cashmere that meets international quality and standard requirements, and become an environmentally friendly producer country.
