THE MINISTER OF FOOD, AGRICULTURE AND LIGHT INDUSTRY ENKHBAYAR.J, HAS MET WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF CASHMERE INDUSTRY.
On September 10, 2024, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Enkhbayar.J, Secretary of State Jambaltseren.T, Head of the light industry policy implementation department Dondogdorj.M, held a meeting with executives of Cashmere Holding, Khanbogd Cashmere, Sor Cashmere, and Snow Fields companies and got acquainted with the activities of Gobi JSC and Cashmere Holding LLC.
During the meeting, addressed the issues on the implementation of goat cashmere produce and technical requirements from 1st January 2025, turnover and investment loan with low interest and long-term duration, spinning factory investment, create a favorable tax environment and discussed many issues facing in the industry, such as the difficulties faced in the implementation of the VAT law and the empowerment of companies human resources.
The Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry Enkhbayar.J expressed that he will work to improve the raw material preparation system, to improve the legal and investment environment of the industry, to support spinning investments, to expand the cooperation of herders’ cooperatives and national producers, and to promote the Mongolian cashmere brand internationally.
