THE MEETING ABOUT THE CHALLENGES OF THE CASHMERE SECTOR WAS HOSTED.

Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association and Mongolian Commodity Exchange are jointly hosted a meeting and discussion on future measures to be taken in the cashmere sector.
In frame of the meeting, agreed to extend the 2021 raw material loan period by three years, improve the legal environment for commodity exchange fees and services, ensure the implementation of Article 14.1.4 of the VAT law and certify the quality and standards of exported cashmere products. Therefore, exchanged views on issues facing the sector and agreed to establish a working group to amend the Commodity Exchange Law and VAT law.
In the meeting, attended Member of Parliament Head of MWCA Bat-Erdene.J, Head of Light Industry Policy Implementation and Coordination Department of MOFA Dondogdorj.М, Deputy Head of MCE Ariunbat.R, Senior lawyer Tuya.G and Head of Gobi, Cashmere Holding, Sor Cashmere, Khanbogd Cashmere, Baylag-Ulzii, Uguuj Shim, Loro-Piana, Ulemj and A-Uils.
