THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE “CASHMERE STUDIES-2024” HAS BEEN HELD.

In the framework of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of MUST, the international science conference “Cashmere Studies-2024” review conference was held on 10th October 2024 aims to introduce the achievements, successes, characteristics and advantages of the Mongolian wool and cashmere industry and disseminate scientific findings in production and to present the experiments and research works being carried out in the cashmere industry.
International research institutes, professional associations, standards organizations, international scientists, researchers, doctors, professors, teachers, management of cashmere factory, engineers and technical staff participated in the international research conference and discussed the research works and sustainable production in the industry. Kobayashi Sunichi, Hideaki Morikawa, and Tomonori Sakoi, professors of textile industry at Shinshu University of Japan, made a presentation on the topics of textile science and technology possibilities, social challenges of production, and the design of thermally comfortable clothing compatible with the human-clothing-environment system and specialist Kwong Jayung from the Colone company of South Korea, made an interesting presentations e on the topic of “Creation of textile clothing reuse system in Mongolia”.
Altantsetseg.D, executive director of the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, gave a speech on the topic “Markets, opportunities and solutions for the cashmere industry” and presented the work being done to create a coherent policy and regulation system, improve the tax law and legal environment, and empower the workforce also about the projects and programs that support the participation of women and youth, the support and implementation of youth creativity, and the creation and development of environmentally friendly, human-centered, and sustainable green production.
