THE HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR IS BEING PROCESSED.
By the order of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations /FAO/ conducted a labor market survey in the agricultural sector and develop a Human Resource Development Plan for 2023-2028. On November 15, 2023, the working group organized at the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, discussed with the sectoral human resources staff of the cashmere industry on the issue of the workforce in the industry.
FAO consultant G. Battulga presented the goals and objectives of the Human Resources Strategy Project. The main purpose of the plan is to improve the professional knowledge and skills of human resources in the agricultural sector in accordance with modern needs, to support the employment of young people, to improve working conditions, to increase the capacity of human resource planning and management, and to provide the sector with skilled human resources in the future.
The human resources experts of the cashmere industry gave their valuable suggestions for the formation of skilled and qualified human resources for leadership in the field that fully meet the needs and requirements of the workplace, shared their experiences, and exchanged opinions on solutions and possibilities for solving the problems. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) expressed the suggestions, experience and potential solutions will be included in the plan.
