THE BUSINESS MEETING OF MONGOLIA-CHINA CASHMERE INDUSTRY HAS HELD.

Mongolia-China business meeting of cashmere industry has been held between 12th -15th June 2024 in Ulaanbaatar. Mongolian wool and cashmere association collaborating with China Chamber of Commerce, Foodstuff and Native Products since 2014 in frame of memorandum and the two countries have a tradition of holding business forums alternately every year.

In this meeting, participated around 70 people from MOFALI, MWCA, Embassy of China in Mongolia, CCCFNA, Consinee Group, administration of Chinese wool and cashmere and machinery producing companies and delegations from Mongolian cashmere companies.

Our two countries, which have 95 percent of the world’s wool cashmere reserves, cooperated in the cashmere industry to compensate for their weaknesses in the world market, to share their strengths, to use their opportunities to enter the world market together, and to discuss the standards of China’s foreign trade industry. The participants of the discussion pointed out that China imported 100 million knitted shirts last year, which is a big opportunity and market for Mongolian producers to export washed and dehaired cashmere, as well as to produce ready-made cashmere products.

Therefore, delegations from China has introduced with producing operation of Gobi, Cashmere Holding, Goyol Cashmere, Khanbogd Cashmere.
