REPRESENTATIVES OF LIGHT INDUSTRY OF KAZAKHSTAN AND KYRGYZSTAN GET INTRODUCED TO THE MONGOLIA WOOL AND CACHMERE INDUSTRY
The Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Union and EBRD organized a joint event between June 23-28 to introduce Central Asian textile manufacturers to Mongolian wool and cashmere industry companies, establish business relationships, support further cooperation, and exchange experience.
At this event, EBRD International Advisor B. Pitusa presented about “Circular Economy”, MWCA Executive Director D. Altantsetseg spoke about “Current Status, Value Added Chain, and Certification of Mongolian Wool Cashmere Industry”, U. Sarangua, Manager of AVSF International Organization, presented about “Sustainable Cashmere production”.
Each of the companies from the above countries presented their products and production, and discussed opportunity of expanding the market, purchase and supply, logistics and export, and create a joint partnership.
In addition, the representatives visited the factories of Cashmere Holding, Blue Sky Cashmere, Erdenet Cashmere, Mogol Noos cashmere factory in the Central Province, as well as herder families life, and got acquainted with livestock pastures and Mongolian farming.
On June 27 and 28, representatives is visiting factories and shops of Gobi, Khanbogd, and Nans Cashmere companies, and also will participate in the World Export Support Forum to be held in Ulaanbaatar.
