PRESENTED THE SURVEY REPORT
In collaboration with the Mongolian wool and cashmere association and United Nations Development program made a survey and presented the “Current status of the cashmere incentive system and it’s possible options” in order to study the current state of commodity quality incentives between herders and buyers to implement appropriate external experience tools by offering possible alternatives on the cashmere commodity incentives to improve the cashmere quality, develop a raw material procurement system, provide a value chain sustainability.
The presentation meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of food, agriculture and light industry, wool and cashmere processing factories, Sustainable cashmere platform of United Nation Development program, Ensure project and Green climate fund and provided feedbacks.
Furthermore, highlighted that it is necessary to make policy recommendations on issues such as optimizing the raw material procurement system and establish an incentive system consistent with the quality of raw cashmere.
