MONGOLIAN-ITALIAN MEETING TO EXPAND TRADE AND ECONOMIC RELATIONS AND COOPERATION WAS HOSTED
On 13th October, Italian Embassy to Mongolia, Italian Chamber of Deputies are hosted a Expand trade and economic relations and cooperation meeting with 80 representatives of 50 enterprises who are collaborating with Italy in Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the meeting, Purevdorj.B, Member of Parliament and Head of the Mongolian-Italian parliamentary group, Amartuvshin.O, President of MNCCI, Ettore Rosato, Vice President of Italian Chamber of Deputies, Ambassador Laura Botta from Italy to Mongolia.
Purevdorj.B, Member of Parliament and Head of the Mongolian-Italian Parliamentary group officially opened the meeting and expressed that since the establishment of two countries we are mostly focused on export of agricultural products mostly on cashmere, further we need to work more carefully on export of other industries. Ettero Rosato, Vice President of Italian Chamber of Deputies emphasized that the meeting is aimed at further strengthening cooperation between two countries. The cashmere industry is a model industry for cooperation between Mongolia and Italy and Italy is a major export partner to Mongolia, as well as the meeting provides a legal basis for creating a favorable business environment for enterprises and this meeting will create and play an important role in cooperation.
Main speaker Altantsetseg.D, Executive Director of Mongolian wool and cashmere association presented the works that are done in the past, present works and further works to do in frame of collaboration of two counties on Mongolian-Italian collaboration in cashmere industry presentation and highlighted that very glad to establish and open the Technology transfer center with the 100 percent support of Italian Government.
Loro Piana and Mon Italy companies are represented the business enterprises and presented the presentations on de-haired cashmere exports and their own practice therefore, Tsogtgerel.B former Vice Minister of MOFALI noted that the main factor for sustainable production of world famous, biggest brands is the supply of high quality raw materials. Regarding this, Mongolia has biggest business opportunity.
