“MNS 6926: 2021 – SUSTAINABLE TEXTILE PRODUCTION” NATIONAL STANDARD VALIDATED
In line with Mongolia’s long-term development policy “Vision 2050” and “Sustainable Development Goals – 2030” under the United Nations Development Program, the national standard has officially approved by Textile technical committee, Mongolian Agency for Standardization and Metrology which developed to make the textile sector as an environmentally friendly, socially responsible and sustainable. The standard reflects the indicators of international standards which proves that Mongolian wool and cashmere products are competitive in foreign markets. The national standard “MNS 6926: 2021 Sustainable Textile Production” covers a wide range of issues, including the rational use of natural resources, energy consumption, the use of chemicals, industrial waste, social responsibility, labor protection, and animal rights.
