On the 5th January 2023, the Minister of Mongolia and the Head of the cabinet secreteriat of government Amarbaysgalan.D held an official meeting with representatives of Mongolian wool and cashmere industry and discussed about the implementation of Resolution no.19 of 2022 of the State Parliament on “Some measurements to be implemented in the wool and cashmere industry” and Resolution no.380 of the Government of Mongolia dated 19th October 2022, technical regulations for the processing and trade of the goat cashmere.

In the meeting, Member of Parliament, Minister of MOFALI Bolorchuluun.Kh, Head of the standing committee on industrialization Enkhtuvshin.T, Member of Parliament, President of Mongolian wool and cashmere association Bat-Erdene.J, Member of Parliament Batjargal.J, The referent of Government Bold.D, Head of the policy and planning department of MOFALI Bolorchuluun.Ts, Head of the light industry policy implementation management department of MOFALI Dondogdorj.M, senior specialist of its department Bolormaa.V, Executive director of Mongolian wool and cashmere association Altantsetseg.D, President of the Mongolian association of vererinary breeders Erkhembayar.L and administrations of Gobi, Cashmere Holding, Khanbogd Cashmere, Erdenet Cashmere, Baylag-Ulzii, Snow Fields, Khatant International, Leader Cashmere, Uguuj Shim, Nans Cashmere, Uujin, MMJ Capital, Ulemj Cashmere and Choir Khairkhan. In the opening of the meeting, Executive director of Mongolian wool and cashmere association Altantsetseg.D gave a speech and Head of the policy and planning department of MOFALI Bolorchuluun.Ts introduced the brief introduction of the industry.

In his speech, the Minister of Mongolia and the Head of the cabinet secreteriat of government Amarbaysgalan.D expressed the support of the development of the processing industry, including the cashmere industry which is the main export product and highlighted that within the framework of these resolutions, will support for non-mining exports and discuss the pressing issues with the national advisory committee to submit them to the government.
