MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT EXCHANGED OPINIONS ON THE RECENT POLICY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CASHMERE SECTOR.

The Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, Mongolian Wool Producers Association cashmere producers and members of Parliament held a “Cashmere Sector Development Outlook” meeting and discussion on the priority measures to be taken in wool and cashmere sector, which is a strategic sector of Mongolia.
In the meeting J.Bat-Erdene, Chairman of the SME Development Sub-Committee of the State Great Hural, Head of the MWCA, D.Togtokhsuren, Member of the State Great Hural, Chairman of the MPP faction in the State Great Hural, L.Enkh-Amgalan, Member of the State Great Hural and Minister of Education and Science, Member of the State Great Hural J.Batjargal, N.Enkhbold, N.Naranbaatar, B.Choijilsuren, and Member of Government, Deputy Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Minister G.Batsuuri participated.
During the meeting, discussion is held on the issues to create a favorable legal environment, increase exports, and participants exchanged opinions on human resource issues, and measures to be taken recently in wool and cashmere sector.
The meeting will be re-organized in the near future by the Parliamentary Committee on Industrialization to resolve number of issues in the first place and then the members will meet with the Prime Minister.
