“JICA JAPAN WILL IMPLEMENT A PROJECT TO IMPROVE THE CAPACITY OF INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER PRE-TREATMENT PLANTS”

Altantsetseg.D, the Executive Director of the association is working in the working group to ensure the implementation of the “Industrial waste water pre-treatment plan” approved by the Resolution 161 of Minister of Construction and Urban Development in July 2021.
Within the frame of this work, the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, in cooperation with JICA Japan, has agreed to implement the project on “Industrial waste water pre-treatment” from 2022.
As part of the project, an online meeting was held on 16th November with JICA researchers Kengo Naganuma, T.Izawa to discuss the current status and needs of the wool and cashmere treatment plant, internal control laboratories, professional workforce capacity, requirements and decision of financial support within frame of the legal condition for small-scale treatment facilities that need to be procured and installed in the sector and agreed to work together to resolve the issues.
