HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE WOOL AND CASHMERE INDUSTRY RECEIVED THEIR CERTIFICATE
Professional associations, public organizations and manufacturers participated in the “Responsible business and human rights assessment trainer” training course organized by the United Nations Development Program with the support of the Government of Japan on 16th-17th March 2023 in a vacuum environment.
From the wool and cashmere industry, Tuya.Ts, Head of the certification body of Mongolian wool and cashmere association, consultant Mungunbayar.M, Gavaasaikhan.G, Chief human resource officer of Gobi Corporation, Ganchimeg.N, human resource officer, Pagmasuren.Kh, human resource officer of Khanbogd Cashmere LLC, were trained as trainers and received their certificates.
During the training the appropriate relationship between business and human rights, management principles and methodological advice for effectively conducting human rights due diligence in business organizations were provided by the United Nations Development Program, Europe-Mongolian chamber of commerce, Ulaanbaatar chamber of commerce, Human resource research institute, Unirights research organization, was characterized by imparting knowledge through practical and theorical combined training. By conducting regular human rights due diligence and respecting human rights, business organizations can improve the working environment of the organization, maintain stable jobs, increase competitiveness, gain international recognition for respecting human rights, attract investment and gain the trust for consumers.
