HACKATHON COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Sponsored by the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, the Hackathon competition where students of schools, universities and designers of cashmere factories, who prepare wool factories, exchange skills and artistic experience, successfully concluded and revealed the winners.
A team of 8 people consisting of factory designers, university design teachers, and students each uses recycled recashmere non-woven materials, highlighted and knitted textile yarns, reflecting modern fashion trends, eco-friendly, useful for people, economical, Mongolian traditions and heritage therefore, created a new design solution that incorporates features, unique work to capture multiple values at once, and unique distinction, and presented their products to consumers and buyers through an interesting presentation.
The teams participating in the Hackathon competition will participate in the Design virtuality fashion show, which will be held in October.
Hackathon winners:
– 1st place “Dream catcher” work /Nomin-Erdene.B, designer of Baylag-Ulzii LLC, Bayarmaa.T, design teacher of School of Industrial Technology of MUST/
– 2nd place “Dune” work /Baigalmaa.P, designer of Sor Cashmere LLC, Orgilbold.N, teacher of SIT of MUST/
– 3rd place “The beauty of waste” work / Gobi-Erdene Cashmere LLC designer Bolor-Erdene.B and design teacher Tugs-Uran.Ts of Mongolian University of Culture and Art/ were selected respectively.
