FOR THE GREEN LOAN GRANT TO THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY WILL COLLABORATE WITH KHAN BANK AND MADE A MEMORANDUM
On 12th February of 2025, loan product development and green bank department senior expert and professionals met with Altantsetseg.D, executive director of Mongolian wool and cashmere association and Mungunbayar.M, advisor of certification body, senior expert of Mongolian agency for standard metrology and international auditor for the collaboration discussion.
During the meeting, gave a detailed presentation on the Mongolian Noble Fibre of product quality standards MNS 6809:2019, sustainable textile production system MNS 6926:2021 standards, criteria and certification scheme in connection with green loans and green financing for green production. It was mentioned that the credit product development department of Khan Bank is planning to carry out green taxonomy and sustainable agriculture marketing activities for the producers of the industry.
In addition, under the White Gold campaign, a Memorandum of Understanding regarding wool and cashmere association has been established to confirm the above criteria for companies receiving green loans.
