EMBASSY OF MONGOLIAN IN JAPAN WILL GIVE ATTENTION TO ADVERTISE MONGOLIAN CASHMERE IN THE JAPANESE MARKET
With Executive Director of the Mongolian Wool Cashmere Association D. Altantsetseg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Japan B. Bayarsaikhan, First Secretary of the Embassy H. Monkhbayar and Hiroaki Arai, Head of the Business Support Team of Namegata City, and Mongolian National Chamber Of Commerce and Industry’s representative in Japan U. Ulziinyam, meetings were held in Tokyo to promote Mongolian cashmere in the Japanese market and to discussed the organization of the exhibition with the “Fashion World Tokyo”.
During the meeting, Ambassador B. Bayarsaikhan expressed its special attention to promote and export Mongolian cashmere products to the Japanese market, participation in the annual “Fashion World Tokyo” exhibition by the name “Mongolian sustainable cashmere” under organization of the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, selling cashmere products in large provinces such as Hokkaido, improve the quality of spun yarn before covid with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and the Japanese Ministry of Human Resource Empowerment (AOTS) organization to the continuation of the spinning engineer, technical staff empowerment project.
In addition, Hiroaki Arai, the head of Namegata City’s business support team, discussed cooperation in the promotion, presentation, and sale of cashmere products and other Mongolian products in the concentrated areas of Namegata City.
Also, on October 8, 2023, the national manufacturer Khanbogd Cashmere LLC opened a new branch store in Marui Imai department store in Sapporo, Hokkaido, one of the largest prefectures of Japan. The store will sell 100% of cashmere knitted and woven products, which are the signature of Mongolia.
A product fashion show was organized by Khanbogd Cashmere during the launch event.
