Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy,
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Mrs Laura Botta from Republic of Italy in Mongolia got acquainted with the operation of Technology transfer center and held a business meeting. The equipment of its center provided by Italian Government’s grant aid. In the meeting participated Dondogdorj.M, Head of the light industry policy implementation coordination department of MOFALI, Gerelzaya.A, Head of policy and coordination of SME department of MOFALI, administrations of Mongolian wool and cashmere association as well as representatives of Cashmere Holding and Khanbogd Cashmere company.
During the meeting, exchanged views on future joint activities in the Mongolian textile industry. For example, mutually agreed to exchange experiences with specialized technical and technological workers, organize long and short-term trainings, provide technical assistance consulting services from Italy and jointly implement a grant program with the participation of Italian and Mongolian government agencies and professional associations.
