The Mongolian Wool Cashmere Association is one of the first sectoral associations established in 1993 by the initiative of more than 10 companies to carry out activities aimed at reviving national industries, providing raw materials, protecting the interests of herders, and improving the quality of wool cashmere. The highest governing body of the MWCA is the meeting of all members, and the board of directors is elected by the meeting of all members, which consists of 7 members.
The association regularly operates with a team of 8 people every day. As of today, there are primary processing, washing, dehairing, knitting, weaving complex factories to small 119 companies , enterprises, training research, and testing organizations such Textile Institute, Light Industry Research and Development Institute, Animal Husbandry Research Institute … has members and operating and expanding continuously.
