A WORKING GROUP OF CASHMERE INDUSTRY WORKED IN ITALY
The working group with the participation of Bat-Erdene.J, Member of Parliament and President of Mongolian wool and cashmere association, Bolormaa.V, Senior specialist of light industry policy implementation management department of Ministry of Food Agriculture and Light Industry, Altantsetseg.D, Executive director of Mongolian wool and cashmere association, Munkhjargal.S, Director of Cashmere Holding LLC worked in Italy between 14th to 18th December of 2022.
During this dates successfully organized the official meetings with Nicola Carè, Member of Italian Chamber of Deputies, Giorgio Silli, Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Paolo Bonetti, Honor Counsellor of Mongolia in Milan, Rafaella Carabelli, Former President of ACIMIT /Association of Textile Machinery Manufacturers/ and member of board of directors, Moratelli, Manager principal for Asia of SACE Italian export credit agency, Tarcisio Ruffoli, Executive director of Falconeri Italy, Francesco Saldarini, Director of Saldarini company.
As we can see, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador from Italy to Mongolia Laura Botta and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador from Mongolia to Italy Narantungalag.Ts attended those meetings, which draws attention to the bilateral collaboration including the development of Mongolian cashmere industry.
Manlio Di Stefano, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Italy participated in the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expressed his importance to expand and strengthen the cooperation between the parliaments of two countries and to further develop mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between Italy and Mongolia also he wished a luck to the working group of Mongolian cashmere industry.
During the meeting, exchanged views on many issues to collaborate such as discounted supply of equipment needed for Mongolia’s wool and cashmere industry, implementation of joint projects, attracting investments, increasing the spinning capacity, increase the export of Mongolian dehaired cashmere as well as launching quality-certified cashmere to the Italian market. Therefore, in the 1st quarter of 2023, Moratelli, Manager principal for Asia of SACE Italian export credit agency and Tarcisio Ruffoli, Executive director of Falconeri Italy will visit to Mongolia to meet with relevant government organizations, wool and cashmere association and with the manufacturers and in March 2023, the Mongolian wool and cashmere association and the Italian ACIMIT association are planning to organize a business visit to introduce advanced Italian equipment to Mongolian manufacturers to create opportunities to establish relationships with potential buyers and will choose the participating companies.
