A WORKING GROUP IS HAVING A MEETING TO DEVELOP AND DISCUSS THE DRAFT RESOLUTION OF THE PARLIAMENT.
The member of the parliament Mr. Bat-Erdene.J has been working as the president of the Mongolian wool and cashmere association for the fifth year, since 2017. During this period, the world cashmere price index increased by 47.8 percent compared to 2017, and the average price of cashmere in the domestic market increased by 193 percent. As a result, the income of herders and businesses has increased accordingly. He chaired a working group, appointed by the Parliament, to support the production of cashmere and wool, to intensify and improve the implementation of legislation, and the working group met at the Government Palace on April 19. From January 2023, only dehaired cashmere will be exported across the Mongolian border to support businesses and to add value domestically. This will be a major decision то support herders and producers.
