A HERDER’S DIGITAL COOPERATIVE PROJECT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED
Funded by the Social Development Fund of Japan, the MOFALI and the World Bank are going to implement the “Herders’s Digital Cooperative” project. Activities will be carried out in 2025 and 2026 with the aim of empowering the activities of participants in the cashmere value chain using digital technology, improving cooperation between parties, activating digital cooperatives and herders, developing web platforms, and connecting parties to the markets and services. The project will be implemented in Khovd, Arkhangai, Uvurkhangai and Bayankhongor provinces.
Within the framework of the project, a meeting was held to discuss the implementation and operation of the project and to expand mutually beneficial cooperation to define the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders.
