THE HONORABLE AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY A.N.YEVSIKOV OF RUSSIAN FEDERATION TO MONGOLIA MET WITH CASHMERE PRODUCERS
The Honorable Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary A.N.Yevsikov of Russian Federation to Mongolia, visited to the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association and met with the representatives of cashmere producers and got introduced with the activities of the Mongolian-Italian Textile Technology Center under the MWCA. At the meeting, the Executive director of the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association D. Altantsetseg, Doctor of Technology, consultant of MWCA G. Yondonsambuu, Director of International Sales of Cashmere Holding Ltd. D. Munkhbat, Director of Snow Fields LLC Ts. Gan-Ulzii, Chief Marketing Manager of BlueSky Cashmere LLC B. Erdenebat, Chief Engineer of BlueSky A. Director of Enkhbayar and Munkhbumuud LLC O. Batsuuri participated and shared opinions with the Ambassador.
During the meeting, Ambassador A.N. Yevsikov expressed his willingness to contribute to the expansion of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, the abolition of the import tax on wool and cashmere, support for the introduce wool and cashmere products in the market, support producers participation in exhibitions of the Russian Federation, inviting designers to work in Mongolia and establishment of a temporary free trade agreement between the Eurasian economies.
In the future, Russian embassy and MWCA mutually agreed to work closely in solving sectoral many issues, including marketing and certification, to increase the export of certified wool cashmere products that meet quality and standard requirements to Russia, which is one of the major target markets of the Mongolian textile industry.
