GOBI AND KHANBOGD CASHMERE COMPANIES HAVE BEEN AWARDED THE TOP-πππ BUSINESS ENTERPRISE OF MONGOLIA IN ππππ FROM THE CASHMERE INDUSTRY.
The Government of Mongolia and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly have organized an event for the 22nd year to announce rankings of TOP-100 enterprises. This year’s feature was that state-owned companies were not included in the selection of the TOP 100 enterprises. This time, Gobi JSC and Khanbogd Cashmere LLC from the processing industry were awarded as the TOP-πππ enterprises.
Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene participated in the awarding ceremony of Mongolia’s TOP-πππ enterprises and presented trophies to the managers of 25 outstanding enterprises.
He said that the economy, which was -4.6% in year 2020, increased by 1.6% in 2021, 4.8% in 2022, and 7.9% in the first quarter of 2023, the gross domestic product per capita reached 5,000 US dollars for the first time, and the state budget exceeded 1.1 trillion, international reserves reached 3.7 billion US dollars, the exchange rate stabilized, the balance of payments became positive, and exports reached to the pre-epidemic level.
