THE REPRESENTATIVES FROM MONGOLIAN CASHMERE INDUSTRY MADE A BUSINESS VISIT TO FAMILIARIZE WITH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY OF ITALY
In frame of collaboration of the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, the Italian Equipment Manufacturers Association ACIMIT, and the Italian Trade Center (ITA) made a business visit to Milan, Italy from 26th March to 1st April 2023.
In this visit, participated representatives from MOFALI, Italian Embassy in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolian wool and cashmere association and the biggest national manufacturing companies such as Gobi, Cashmere Holding, Khanbogd Cashmere, Sor Cashmere, Mongol Textile, Snow Fields, Natural Textile Group, Baylag Ulzii, Nans Cashmere, Munkhbumuud, Uujin, Leader Cashmere, Gobi-Erdene Cashmere, Uguuj Shim and Goyol Cashmere.
During the visit, familiarized with manufacturers of the latest advanced green technology in the Italian textile industry such as STALAM, FADIS, SAVIO, ITEMA, C.P.S. etc. We got acquainted with the operations of more than 20 spinning, weaving, processing, laboratory and packaging factories, machines and equipment that are environmentally friendly, save steam, water and electricity, do not waste, and ensure safe operation.
On this occasion, Director of ACIMIT Federico Pellegatta was presented with the Mongolian Government Award “Honorary Letter” by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.
ACIMIT laid the foundation for the establishment of the Textile Technology Center under the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, and made a valuable contribution to the development of the cashmere industry by developing the textile industry, introducing and localizing advanced Italian techniques and technologies to Mongolia, product development, testing and research, and training the personnel to make a valuable contribution. Within the framework of cooperation related to wool and cashmere, we are planning to do many things together in the future.
The special feature of this business visit to that before the “ITMA-2023” exhibition, which will be held in Milan, Italy between 8th-14th June 2023, the Mongolian textile industry will gather information about Italy’s green and advanced equipment and participate in technical and technological innovation and further cooperation. is important for successful implementation.
