THE VIRTUAL EXHIBITION ORGANIZED IN TORONTO, CANADA

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between Mongolia and Canada, The Universe of Sourcing exhibition was successfully held in Toronto, Canada on September 14-16 this year.
Companies such as Cashmere Holding, Anar USA a Mongolian wool and cashmere manufacturer participated in a virtual exhibition and presented their products to all participating organization and customers.
In the opening of the exhibition, Mr Ariunbold Yadmaa, Ambassador of Mongolia to Canada, highlighted that “Mongolian cashmere is well-known as one of the softest fibers in the world. Despite supplying around 70% of the unprocessed cashmere in the global market, only 10% among 30% of finished products with label Made in Mongolia enter to the global market. Regarding this issue, Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association developed and introduced Mongolian Noble Fibre and Certification Body was a big investment to the industry. Those works are going to give the trust to the customers that the products is made with 100 percent wool and cashmere which are Made in Mongolia.
During the discussion, foreign buyers from the two companies participating in the exhibition were free to ask questions and gain a broad knowledge of the Mongolian cashmere industry.
