A Memorandum of Understanding of collaboration was signed between Association of Light Industry of Kazakhstan.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association and the Association of Light Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Memorandum was signed by Altantsetseg.D /Executive Director/ of the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association and Khudova.L.N /President of the Association of Light Industry/ of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On the occasion of the ceremony, National Manager of the Small and Medium Business Support Program of European Reconstruction and Development Bank (EBRD) Baigalmaa.S, Senior Officer Advice for Small Businesses Mongolia Demberelmaa.D of EBRD, Head of EBRD Mongolia Hannes Takacs, Director of Small Medium Enterprises Finance and Development Regional Network at EBRD Nadia Petkova, Director, Gender and Economic Inclusion of EBRD Barbara Rambousek and Regional Head of the EBRD Small Business Support Program in Kazakhstan Holgar Wiefel are highlighted the women’s participation in the textile industry of the two countries and wished success also expressed that they will support in future collaboration.
At the opening of the event, Altantsetseg.D /Executive Director/ of the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, highlighted that “Very pleased to be taking an important step in our light industry cooperation. We would like to thank the staff of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for organizing this event.”
There are many similarities between Kazakhstan and Mongolia, such as appearance, location and lifestyle. Undoubtedly, this will greatly facilitate a mutual beneficial cooperation and trade between us. We are very confident that the cooperation we are launching will give us results in many new business start-ups and partnerships with the support of the policies of the two governments.
Even though, the world is under the pandemic, I believe that our cooperation will make a small contribution to overcoming the economic difficulties of the two countries.
Our Association is one of the first professional associations in Mongolia that has been operating for 30 years since it’s establishment in 1993. We are looking forward to sharing our experiences with you and learning from your new ideas and experiences.
Furthermore, we want to get started quickly the joint development of an annual work plan and promotion of many products in the market of the two countries and to organize regular trainings, seminars and exhibitions to strengthen the human resources of the sector.
