A DISCUSSION WAS HELD ON THE HUMAN RESOURCE ISSUES OF THE WOOL AND CASHMERE INDUSTRY
Mongolian wool and cashmere association in cooperation with the Human development training and research center a discussion was held with the participation of human resource employees from Gobi, Cashmere Holding, Buyan Cashmere, Khanbogd Cashmere, Erdenet Cashmere, Snow Fields, Uguuj Shim, Nans Cashmere, Negun Cashmere, Leader Cashmere, Goyol Cashmere, Mongol Textile, Gobi-Erdene Cashmere, Khatant International, Gurvan Sor and Bebi Cashmere.
During the discussion, the issues that the industry is currently facing such as lack of human resources, succession, creating a mentality of preparing for work and the system of employee responsibility were discussed.
Also, to reflect the problems and risks in labor relations in government policies, to put the professional designation of workers in the cashmere industry in harmful and abnormal conditions to retain skilled personnel to organize competency-based trainings and to create video content and films to motivate working in the cashmere industry, therefore raised many important issues, such as the need for reforms in the preparation of professional engineers and technicians in the field of advertising.
The participants of the discussion decided to establish a working group on the issue of human resources in the industry, to prepare for the national discussion in the near future and to work together with relevant government institutions.
