In anticipation of the “Mongolian Economic Conference-2022” forum, a preliminary discussion on “Industry Revival” was held today at the “Corporate Convention Center”.
The sub-discussion on “Light and food production” of the discussion was opened by the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Z. Mendsaikhan, who gave a speech about the industry. J. Bat-Erdene, a member of the State Parliament and head of the Mongolian Wool and Cotton Association, said that the government should support the private sector in providing opportunities for work, expanding the market, improving the legal environment, and providing assistance.
We must follow the policy and work directly in practice, and by cooperating with the wool cashmere association, we will approve the Parliament resolution on “Some Measures to be Implemented in the Wool Cashmere Industry”, prohibiting the export of washed cashmere from 2023, the export of cashmere with added value beyond combing, and working capital loans. He emphasized that the government has released the possibility of regularization.
