It will be a national professional association with a reputation in the international textile industry with skilled members who have developed world-renowned Mongolian brands.
The Mongolian Wool Cashmere Association is the first professional association established in 1993 by the initiative of more than 10 industries to carry out activities aimed at restoring national industries, providing raw materials, protecting the rights of herders, and improving the quality of wool cashmere. The supreme governing body of the Wool and Cashmere Union is the meeting of all members, and the board of directors is elected by the meeting of all members with a composition of 7 people.
The day-to-day working apparatus of the Federation is regularly functioning with a staff of 7 people. As of today, there are companies and enterprises engaged in primary washing, combing and production of knitted and crocheted products of wool and cashmere, manufacturing, trade, training, research and testing institutions such as Textile Institute, Light Industry Research and Development Institute, Animal Husbandry Research Institute, etc. It has 104 members and continues to operate continuously.
